People

Phil Kroeker
Phil is a husband, father, and grandpa, active in a local church, business owner, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and a Viet Nam Veteran. He has a Master in Business Administration.

Phil and his wife Karla have been married for forty-two yrs. They have lived in the Monument area for the past thirty years where they have a Wellness Business and small construction business.

Phil is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) who focuses on in-home modifications for those with disabilities. He is also involved with a local nonprofit organization, Rebuilding Together. Their mission is to provide home repair services for elderly and disadvantaged homeowners (including injured soldiers) to keep them warm, safe, dry, and living independently.

Bob Carter
Bob has been involved in helping others since the early ‘70s when he was an Army medevac pilot. He later retired from the Colorado Springs Fire Dept., after serving his city both as a firefighter and a paramedic.

His retirement has been filled with volunteer/work efforts both on the local scene and internationally, usually helping people with their homes. More recently, he has narrowed his focus to retrofitting homes to meet changing/aging physical needs. In order to better understand how to help people modify their homes, he has become a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS).

Bob works with Rebuilding Together, the Light Brigade, and various other organizations to help people with mobility/retrofitting issues. MobilityIdeas is a continuation of his passion for helping others. He is very proud to be a part of this venture in filling a neglected niche in the lives of those who need a little mobility help in order to safely maintain their independence.
